VCIA attends several events on a regular basis. These include;
ANZAC day dawn service at Melbourne University in conjunction with Melbourne University Regiment
Victoria Day celebrations at Melbourne Town Hall, in conjunction with the Victoria Day Council, on or around the 1st of July.
The Separation Tree commemoration in the Royal Botanic Gardens in conjunction with the Voctoria Day Council on or about the 15th of November each year.
The military living history encampment hosted by North East Muzzle Loaders club each year in late September.
